Texting is one of the most important ways for your business to efficiently communicate with your clients. At Loyalsnap, we are dedicated to maintaining compliance regulations for our clients to provide the best experience when using texting for marketing, automations and individual messages.
US carriers, such as AT&T or Verizon, have implemented changes in compliance requirements to support the growing number of businesses texting their customers while protecting end-users from unwanted messages. All SMS messages sent from unregistered lines will be blocked by the carriers. These requirements are applicable to business’ using a 10DLC, also know as a 10 digit long-code (for example: 123-456-7890). These changes in required information will also benefit your business by improving deliverability rates and building trust with the carriers!
Some of the new requirements that are being implemented include your studio’s business information- your registered business name, EIN number and your registered business type. Without this information being entered correctly in your portal, you will not be able to send SMS messages.
We will require all of this information so we can continue to provide both automated texting services to your studio, as well as SMS Blasts marketing texting services. This will allow us to remain compliant with the TCPA and mobile carriers, ensuring high deliverability rates for your studio!
