Schedule Send lets you write a message now and have it sent automatically at a future date and time. It's handy for planning your outreach in advance instead of sending everything in the moment.
It works for manual messages (SMS and MMS, and WhatsApp) sent from the texting inbox or a client's detail page.
Schedule a Message
- Open a conversation in the Inbox or on a client's detail page and type your message.
- Click the Schedule message (clock) icon in the composer. A default send time is filled in for you.
- To set your own time, click the edit (pencil) icon to open Send Scheduled Text, choose the Date & Time, and click Save.
- Click Schedule to queue the message.
Edit or Unschedule a Message
- On the conversation, open the You have [number] scheduled messages bar to see what's scheduled.
- Click the scheduled message to open Edit Scheduled Text.
- Update the Message and/or the Date & Time, then click Save — or click Unschedule to cancel it.
Find Scheduled Messages
To see every conversation with a message queued to send, open the Scheduled filter at the top of your inbox. The conversation preview shows the scheduled message content. For more on inbox filters, see Managing Your Inbox: Filters, Read Status, and Archiving.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: Can I schedule a WhatsApp message?
A: Yes. If your studio has WhatsApp enabled, schedule it the same way from the client's WhatsApp conversation — the steps are identical to SMS.
Q: What time zone are scheduled messages based on?
A: Your studio's local time zone. The scheduling window notes this too.
Q: I scheduled a message but don't see the conversation in my inbox.
A: If the client's conversation isn't currently in your inbox, it will appear once the client replies. You can still find it using the Scheduled filter.
Q: Will an incoming text or automation cancel my scheduled message?
A: No. Messages that arrive before the send time don't interrupt a scheduled message — it still goes out at the time you set.
Q: How do I cancel a scheduled message?
A: Open the scheduled message, then click Unschedule in the Edit Scheduled Text window.
