Dynamic Client Lists can target far more than recent visits or packages. This article covers the advanced conditions you can layer on to build precise segments.
Beyond the Basics
In addition to common filters like recency, visit counts, contracts, and packages, dynamic lists can target clients by:
- Message engagement — whether a client opened an email, clicked a link, or replied.
- Contact channel — recent calls, texts, or emails with the client.
- Upcoming class session — clients booked into a specific session.
- Visit status — how a client’s visits are categorized.
- Contracts and packages, with include and exclude — target clients who have (or do not have) specific contracts or packages.
- Locations — narrow by studio location where applicable.
How to Add a Condition
- Create or edit a Dynamic Client List.
- Add a condition and choose the field you want to target.
- Set the condition values (and choose include or exclude where offered).
- Combine multiple conditions to narrow your segment, then save.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why do I not see a condition mentioned here?
A: Available conditions depend on your studio and booking platform. Not every condition applies to every setup.
Q: Can I exclude clients as well as include them?
A: Yes. Several conditions (like contracts and packages) let you exclude clients who match.
Q: Do the lists update automatically?
A: Yes. Dynamic lists recalculate so membership stays current as clients meet or stop meeting the conditions.
