To maximize your outreach through SMS Blasts, you’ll want to be sure to have as many recipients as possible! Before a client can be included in your recipient list, they must be opted in to receive this type of marketing.
In our experience, the number of clients who are already opted in to receive SMS marketing through the booking platform is extremely low. For this reason, we provide two quick and easy options for you to opt your clients in manually!
If you do not opt-in clients through the below methods, their opt-in status will default to their marketing/promo SMS opt-in status in your booking platform. ClubReady studio's clients are defaulted to opted-out.
Opt-In From Blast Recipient List

Navigate to the SMS Blasts tab and click Create SMS Blast

Add conditions to the SMS Blast to add recipients

If there are clients who meet the conditions but are not opted-in, a message will appear advising how many clients fit the conditions but are not opted-in with a call to action

Click Opt-in +

Select one or more clients or click Select All

Select the consent checkbox

Click Opt-in

The clients are now successfully opted-in to SMS Blasts
📌 If the studio user does not opt-in users from the Recipient box, they will be prompted again when they click Send Now or Send Later
FAQ/Important Information
- When a client is added to Loyalsnap, their initial opt-in status will reflect their status in the Booking Platform; If your studio uses ClubReady as your booking platform, by default all clients are opted-out when they are added to Loyalsnap
- If clients were opted-out from the booking platform data, they are eligible to be opted-in through Loyalsnap
- If clients specifically texted STOP to the studio’s Loyalsnap marketing number, they cannot be opted back in; they remain opted-in for transactional messaging (Automations and manually sent texts)
- If clients texted STOP to transactional messaging, they are opted-out by default of marketing messaging and cannot be opted back in
- To remain compliant, studio users must verify they have consent from clients to opt them in.
- Loyalsnap will only display clients who have not explicitly opted-out via Loyalsnap during the Blast creation flow
- The estimated recipients only displays opted-in clients
- If a Blast is scheduled for a future date, and new recipients who are not yet opted-in meet the conditions, they will not be opted-in for the Blast by default
Opt-In Via Client List Upload
To get started, follow these steps or watch this video:

Navigate to the Client Lists tab

Upload a new list via CSV. Please note that the only method for marketing opt-in at this time is through CSV upload or creating a new contact that does not yet exist in Loyalsnap.

When viewing the preview of the list, click the check box that says "By checking this box you assert that you have received consent to send marketing text messages to the recipients listed."
❗ By checking the opt-in confirmation box, you are asserting responsibility that these clients on your list, or the contacts that are created through Loyalsnap, have given consent to receive SMS marketing material from your studio. You will now see the success message that your clients are now opted-in for SMS marketing! Their opt-in status will display next to their name in the client list.
✅ If a client has previously opted-out of SMS marketing through texting STOP to one of your Blasts, they will remain opted-out, even if they are re-uploaded through a CSV list. If they would like to opt back in, please ask your client to text START to your studio’s marketing number.
