There are many reasons why clients may need to request a pause on communications. They could be out of town, injured, moving, or other reasons. Through the Dashboard, you have the ability to pause Automations for individual clients for a specified length of time, giving them a good client experience and still being able to access their information when you need!
Pause Automations
In a few steps, Loyalsnap has made it simple to respect and adjust a client’s automated communication preferences!

Navigate to the Client Details page of the client for whom you would like to pause Automations

Click the ellipsis (…) menu to the right of their name

From the drop down menu, select Pause Automations

Select the date you would like to pause Automations until
After this date, the client will resume receiving automated communications. Once paused, a reminder will appear under the clients name to indicate when they will begin receiving Automations again!
⏸️ Things to Remember:
Automations can be paused for up to 1 calendar year. Pausing Automations does not pause Email Blast communication, nor does it prevent manual communications from being sent.
Resume/Unpause Automations
There may be instances where you can resume Automations for a client at an earlier date than they were paused until! With this tool, you can cancel the pause at any time.

Go to the Client Details page of the client you would like to unpause automations for
- Click the X next to their paused automation date reminder
A pop-up confirmation will appear to confirm you’d like to unpause the Automations.
- Click Unpause to resume Automations for your client
⏸️ Things to Remember:
When a client’s Automations are unpaused, they will not receive Automations retroactively. If they missed any Automations during the pause, they will not receive those Automations once unpaused. They will simply start receiving any future Automations for which they qualify.
