The Overview tab in your Reporting dashboard highlights key client activity and trends using a mix of Tiles and Charts. This article walks through what each section means and how to interpret the data.
For Mindbody studios, metrics look at all locations within the same MBO account. Ex. if 2 locations are using the same MBO ID they will both be accounted for in the Overview section.
Filter by Package
At the top of the Overview tab, the All packages dropdown lets you focus the report on specific packages. Click it to open Filter by package, which limits your purchase and membership metrics to a chosen set of packages.
- Choose Include selected to show only the packages you pick, or Exclude selected to leave them out.
- Use Search packages… to find and select packages.
- Click Apply to update the metrics, Clear to reset your selection, or Cancel to close without changes.
When nothing is selected, the filter reads All packages and every package is included.
Tiles
Tiles are snapshot metrics designed to give you a quick pulse on client behavior and studio health. Each tile includes a number based on the selected timeframe or current moment, along with a breakdown modal of client details.
New Clients
Shows all new clients added to Loyalsnap within the selected timeframe. Clients who were leads and then converted to full accounts will only appear once.
Packages Sold
Displays the number of clients who purchased a non-autopay package during the selected timeframe. These packages may be active or expired, but ClassPass purchases are excluded.
Active Autopays
Shows the current number of clients with an active autopay package or contract. This tile is based on the present moment—not a date range—so it always reflects your current active autopay holders.
At Risk Clients
Identifies clients who still have an active package or contract but haven’t attended a visit in over 14 days. Use this tile to follow up with clients who might be slipping away.
Recaptured Clients
Shows clients who are currently active again after taking a significant break—specifically, those whose latest package was purchased 30 or more days after their previous package. These are win-backs worth celebrating.
Client Breakdown Modal
Overview tiles and the steps in each funnel chart are clickable. Selecting a tile — or a chart step like New clients, Booked first visit, or Attended first visit — opens a breakdown modal listing the exact clients behind that number, so you can act on them. For each client you'll see:
- Name — click it to open the client's profile.
- Phone
- Date created
- Package — their current package (or — if none).
- Contract — their most recent contract (or — if none).
- Total Visits
The list is paginated (50 clients per page) and respects the time range and any package filter you've set. If you change the reporting period while the modal is open, it closes so the numbers stay in sync.
Charts
Charts in the Overview tab provide visual insights into client conversion and behavior over time. Each chart uses a step-by-step funnel to show how clients move through actions like booking, attending, or purchasing.
Visits Chart
Tracks how new clients progress through early engagement:
New Clients – All clients created in the selected timeframe.
Booked First Visit – Of those, the clients who scheduled a first visit.
Attended First Visit – From there, how many actually showed up.
Booked Second Visit – And finally, how many scheduled a second visit.
Use this chart to evaluate your client experience and follow-up strategy.
First-Visit Attendance Breakdown
From the Visits chart, you can open the Attendance breakdown to see how booked first visits actually turned out. It shows the total booked and an overall show rate at the top, then splits those visits three ways:
- Attended — clients who showed up (count and %).
- Missed — clients who didn't show (count and %).
- Upcoming — booked first visits that haven't happened yet (count and %).
A colored bar and legend (Attended / Missed / Upcoming) visualize the split at a glance.
Purchases Chart
Shows the purchasing journey of new clients:
New Clients – All clients created in the selected timeframe.
Made First Purchase – Clients who bought a non-autopay package or contract.
Made Second Purchase – Of those, how many returned to buy again.
This chart can help you assess how effectively your studio converts interest into loyalty.
Autopay Chart
Measures how well your studio moves clients from visits to long-term commitment:
New Clients – All clients created in the selected timeframe.
Booked First Visit – Clients who scheduled a visit.
Attended First Visit – Clients who actually showed up.
Purchased Autopay – Clients who enrolled in an autopay package or contract after attending.
Helpful for tracking how early engagement translates into ongoing revenue.
Net New Members Chart
Breaks down your autopay membership growth:
Contracts Sold – Number of new autopay contracts started during the selected timeframe.
Contracts Cancelled – Number of contracts that ended during the same period.
Net New Members – The difference between the two, giving you a real-time look at autopay growth.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: What does the package filter change?
A: Only purchase- and membership-related metrics, like Packages Sold and the Purchases chart. Other tiles and charts stay the same.
Q: Can I see the actual clients behind a metric?
A: Yes. Click a tile — or a step in a chart, like Booked first visit — to open a breakdown modal listing those clients, with name, phone, date created, package, contract, and total visits. Click a client's name to open their profile.
Q: What's the difference between "Include selected" and "Exclude selected"?
A: Include selected shows only the packages you pick. Exclude selected shows everything except the packages you pick.
Q: What does "show rate" mean in the attendance breakdown?
A: Of the booked first visits that have already happened, it's the share that were attended. Upcoming visits aren't counted against it.
Q: What counts as "Upcoming" in the attendance breakdown?
A: First visits that are booked but haven't taken place yet.
