Your templates should reflect the style, culture, and energy of your studio. The Loyalsnap Template Editor gives you a drag-and-drop panel so you can build emails and templates that look exactly the way you want — no code required.
What is the editor panel?
When you create or edit a template, a panel appears on the right side of the editor. It's organized into four tabs — Content, Blocks, Body, and Images — that together give you everything you need to design your template.
Content: individual blocks
The Content tab holds the individual building blocks you drag into your template. Here's what each one does:
- Columns: Split a section into multiple columns so you can place content side by side.
- Button: Add a clickable button that links to a web page or starts an email to your studio.
- Divider: Add a horizontal line to separate sections of content.
- Heading: Add a heading. Adjust the font, size, placement, and color in the panel on the right.
- HTML: Paste your own HTML code for custom-designed sections.
- Paragraph: Add a block of body text.
- Image: Upload and insert an image or GIF.
- Uploads: Reuse an image you've uploaded before. Anything you add with the Image block shows up here so you don't have to upload it again.
- Merge Field Images: Insert an image that's saved as an image merge field (a Studio Resource). Use this when you want the same managed image across templates — update the Studio Resource once and it updates everywhere.
- Video: Add a video from YouTube or Vimeo. It appears as a clickable thumbnail in the email.
- Menu: Add a horizontal menu of links — commonly used for social media links.
- Table: Insert a table to lay out structured content in rows and columns.
- Timer: Add a countdown timer to create a sense of urgency.
Blocks: ready-made layouts
The Blocks tab gives you pre-built section layouts — a blank section, or sections already split into columns. Drop one in as a starting point, then fill it with content from the Content tab.
Body: overall styling
The Body tab controls the look of the whole template, including:
- Text color and background color
- Content width and content alignment
- Font family and font weight
- Preheader text — the short summary that appears after the subject line when someone views the email in their inbox
Images: find or create images
The Images tab lets you search millions of free stock images (powered by Unsplash, Pexels, and Pixabay) and drop them straight into your template. You can also create an image with AI from this tab.
How to add a block
- Open the template you want to edit, or create a new one.
- Open the Content tab in the panel on the right.
- Click the block you want and drag it into the template where you'd like it to appear.
- Select the block in the template to edit its content and styling in the panel.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use the same block more than once?
Yes. Add any block as many times as you need, or skip it entirely.
Why don't I see anything under the Uploads block?
You haven't uploaded any images yet. Add an image with the Image block first — it will then appear under Uploads for reuse.
What's the difference between the Image block and the Merge Field Images block?
The Image block adds a single, fixed image you upload. The Merge Field Images block inserts an image that's managed as a Studio Resource, so the same image can be reused across templates and updated in one place.
What's the difference between the Content tab and the Blocks tab?
Content holds single elements (a button, an image, a paragraph). Blocks holds ready-made section layouts you can drop in and then fill with content.
