If you run more than one studio, you can copy an SMS or email blast from one location to others in your group — so your team doesn’t have to rebuild the same blast from scratch at each studio. This article shows you how, and what to check in each destination before sending.
What Copying a Blast Does
Copying a blast takes an existing blast — its content, template, any links, and audience filters — and creates a copy in the studio(s) you choose. Each studio gets its own independent copy that can be edited, scheduled, or sent on its own.
Any Loyalsnap short links in the original are automatically re-created for each destination studio, so click tracking is attributed to the studio that actually sends the blast — not the original.
Who Can Use This
This is for team members whose account has access to more than one studio in the same group. If you only manage a single studio, the option won’t appear.
How to Copy a Blast to Another Studio
- Go to Blasts in the left navigation.
- Open SMS Blasts or Email Blasts, depending on which one you want to copy.
- Find the blast you want to copy — it can be completed, a draft, or scheduled.
- At the far right of that blast’s row, click the arrow on the Edit/View button to open its menu.
- Select Copy to other studios.
- In the window that appears, choose the studio(s) in your group you want to copy it to.
- Click Copy.
What success looks like: the copy lands as a draft in each destination studio. Staff there can review it, adjust anything location-specific (like an address or a local offer), and send it on their own schedule.
The audience filter is copied as a starting point, but the actual recipients are determined by each destination studio’s own member data when the blast is sent. You’ll also need to re-select the exact packages or memberships at the destination studio. A filter like “members with fewer than 3 visits” will match different people at each location.
Common Use Cases
Franchise HQ running a system-wide promotion: build the blast once at the HQ studio, then copy it to all locations. Each studio gets its own draft to review and customize before sending.
Reusing a high-performing blast: if a blast drove strong results at one location, copy it to similar studios to replicate the approach without starting over.
Testing messaging before a rollout: draft and refine a blast at a single studio, then copy it across your group once you’re happy with it.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: I don’t see a “Copy to other studios” option on my blast.
A: This option only appears for team members whose account has access to multiple studios in the same group. If you manage multiple studios but don’t see it, contact Loyalsnap Support to confirm your account is set up for blast distribution.
Q: Does this work for both SMS and email blasts?
A: Yes. You’ll find Copy to other studios in the same Edit/View menu on both the SMS Blasts and Email Blasts lists.
Q: The copied blast has the wrong link — it’s pointing to the original studio.
A: Everything in the original blast is copied as-is. In the copied blast, delete the link and re-add your destination studio’s URL.
Q: Can I copy a blast to studios outside my group?
A: Not currently. The copy feature is limited to studios within your group.
